Powder Keg Cottage is of historical note. Originally built in 1919, as its name suggests it was used for storage of the British Navy's gunpowder. It has since been completely renovated to a high specification with no detail left untouched to ensure a luxury holiday home. Rated "5 Stars" and "Excellent" by the English Tourist Board (Visit Britain) in both 2008 and 2009.

Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer & microwave. Large dining table and seating for 8.

Large corner suite, widescreen Flat TV, Freeview, DVD player and music system with a selection of books, CD’s, DVD’s and games. Balcony.

Master Double Bedroom/Bathroom 1:
Located on second floor. Choice of either one king double bed or two x 2'6" single beds. Private balcony. Small en suite shower room and wc.

Second Double Bedroom:
Located on first floor. Two x 3' single beds.

Single 3rd Bedroom:
Situated on second floor next to second bathroom. One 3' single bed.

Bathroom 2:
Bath, sink and wc. Located on second floor.

Downstairs cloakroom:
Located on ground floor.

Waterside patio garden with views of Portsmouth Historical Dockyard, two balconies with uninterrupted waterfront views of Portsmouth Harbour.
